“In every role I have had within my 16 years of working I feel really lucky to say that all my line managers have been female. Having such strong amazing leaders to learn from has absolutely shaped who I am in the working world today and I feel I have taken on different traits from each of them. I learnt from a young age that to get anywhere in life you need to work hard, be confident in your abilities and learn from setbacks – something which I also try to instil in my daughter every day.

My advice to young women starting out in their career would be - work hard, stay positive and make it happen for yourself”.
