Our home

Our journey is also reflected in the growth of our office space. From a 3,850 sq ft space in Bingley, to our now 21,300 sq ft Baildon based headquarters, (completed with an impressive 3,000 sq ft warehouse downstairs) ensuring our staff have the right environment to stay happy, motivated, and productive has always been important to us.

Driving Growth

Our sales figures speak volumes about our journey. From a beginning with £3 million in our first year of trading, with last year's sales reaching an impressive £35 million. This organic growth showcases the trust and confidence our customers have in our services and solutions.

Giving back

Giving back to our community has always been integral to us. Our commitment to community engagement is evident through the £150K raised for charity and local initiatives.

From the very start, we've embraced our local community - from sourcing our milk from a neighbouring farmer to partnering with the local council on impactful community initiatives. Our dedication doesn't end there as over the years, we've actively participated in a diverse range of volunteering projects too.

And this year, to mark our 15 year milestone, we set an ambitious goal of raising £15,000 for our two 2023 charity partners, Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and The Clothing Bank UK.

From cycling the longest canal in the UK to selling homemade samosas, we are excited to share that we have raised £8,640 in the past 6 months - which is over half of our target!

And with 5p donated from every order, we can’t forget to give a special thanks to all our customers. It really does make a difference!

Sustainability as a Driving Force

Our dedication to sustainability is evident in our efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, a status we've proudly held since 2016. We've invested not just money but valuable time and effort in implementing initiatives that promote sustainability. A highlight is the installation of 220 solar panels last year, a step that has significantly reduced our carbon footprint and demonstrated our commitment to a greener future.

We are not only committed to our own environmental goals, but also to helping our customers work in a more sustainable way. That’s why this year we put in place an initiative designed to encourage customers to consolidate deliveries into their sites. Alongside this we have an extensive list of green alternative supplies and product ranges, and we also provide dedicated environmental account reviews for each and every one of our customers.

This year, we also introduced Seven-summiteer Nick Hollis as our Brand Ambassador. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Nick will help our continued progress towards achieving our Net Zero goal. As part of Nicks introduction, we held our first ever annual ACS Sustainability Summit event.

Nurturing Talent: ACS Academy and Apprenticeships

Our growth isn't just about expanding our team; it's about nurturing and cultivating local talent, which is why over our 15 years of trading we have trained and hired 44 apprentices in total - 40% of which have blossomed into valued, long-term employees.

Brand Evolution

As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we also reflect on the evolution of our brand. Over the years, we've undergone many changes, each reflecting our evolving identity and aligning with our growing vision. And we couldn’t be prouder of the ACS Group we have today.
